The project!

As a Telecommunications Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our telecommunications systems as a member of the Business Technology Team, based at our Barcelona office in Sant Feliu de Llobregat.

What will the role entail?

• Manage and maintain the network infrastructure (Cisco Catalyst switches, routers,
  Fortinet firewalls, Meraki WiFi, and Meraki SD-WAN).
• Oversee network electronics for internal clients and/or distributed offices.
• Configure and maintain complex network environments, including communication and routing protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS).
• Set up and support WAN connections (FTTH, DWDM, Point-to-Point links, etc.).
• Implement and manage secure network solutions (VPNs, Fortinet Firewalls, IPS,
  Radius).
• Monitor networks using tools such as NetFlow, SNMP, Zabbix, PRTG, or similar.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues, ensuring high availability and optimal
  performance.
• Lead SD-WAN projects, including deployment, vendor management, and cost
  optimization.
• Ensure service quality and operational continuity of the communications infrastructure.
• Manage network and telecommunications service requests and align with business
  needs.
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to enforce secure network policies.
