The project!

We’re on the lookout for a creative and passionate Designer to join us full-time at our Madrid HQ. You’ll be an essential part of the Outerwear team at Pepe Jeans, supporting the full design process and bringing fresh ideas to life from concept to final product.

 

What are the mainly responsabilities? 

  • Preparation of product moodboards: Creating visual representations of the
    desired aesthetic and inspiration for the range.
  • Research and selection of suitable qualities: Conducting market research to
    identify suitable materials and fabrics for the collection.
  • Trend forecasting and research: Staying up-to-date with the latest fashion trends
    and incorporating them into the design process.
  • Making technical design sheets: Creating detailed technical design sheets with
    precise measurements and specifications to guide the manufacturing process.
  • Follow up on prototype development: Overseeing the development of prototypes
    and ensuring they align with the initial design vision.
  • Fitting of prototypes with technical support: Collaborating with technical teams to
    fit and adjust prototypes to achieve the desired fit and look.
  • Follow up of design samples: Monitoring the production of design samples and
    ensuring their conformity to quality standards.

Requirements

  • University degree in Fashion Design
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the fashion industry.
  • Good understanding English and able to communicate fluently.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop as well as in
    Microsoft Office (Excel and Power Point).
