Who we are...

AWWG is the global fashion group that integrates the brands Pepe Jeans London, Hackett, and Façonnable, and is the licensed distributor for Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, DKNY and Karl Lagerfeld in Spain and Portugal. 

 

The project:

As a product developer, you must have a strong understanding of the creative and technical aspects of product development. Some essential skills include creativity, problem-solving, attention to detail, and strong communication.

 

What will the role entail?

  • Send and follow up research and development requests to suppliers.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data in PLM (eg creating and updating BOMs, updating prices), by continuously updating the system
  • Send Garment Work Sheets with proto and production comments.
  • Oversee proto sample deliveries
  • Responsible for product management throughout the development process, by attending key meetings and advising on possible improvements of product and margins , and signing off (pre-production) samples

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fashion product development, ideally within the Denim world.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of fabric sourcing, trim development, and garment production processes.
  • Proficiency in PLM systems and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a positive attitude.
