The Concessions Merchandising & Planning Specialist is responsible on guiding the merchandising team on planning and developing a product strategy to enable the company met financial and profit targets.
What will the role entail?
- Perform the Buying Budget of the divisions at scope, based on financial plan.
- Perform the Seasonal Buy and NOS forecast.
- Ensure all operational needs are covered from A to Z, system wise, logistics and at
point of sale.
- Analyzing past sales figures/trends to anticipate future product needs.
- Build up stock to afford seasonal promotions or marketing campaigns etc.
- Ensure Logistics are met on time and frequency.
- Monitor stock movement, consider markdowns, inter-branch transfers, promotions or clear outs etc.
- Minimize stock holdings and commitment to allow for maximum profit.
- Fluent communication with the stores staff is crucial to achieve objectives and
coordinate the different operational processes such as returns, pricing changes,
promotions, product launches, etc.
Will also work close to the Sales Manager to ensure the product strategy will conduct them on achieving the sales plan.
